Now to my personal life. I'm trying to do my school work on time rather than doing it the last minute but to be honest I think I work better under pressure for some reason and I get a lot more done rather doing an assignment way before its due. So my birthday is coming up and surprisingly I am not that excited about it. As I start to get older I realize how getting gifts and presents are just added bonuses to your life when the real blessing is being alive, healthy, and surrounded by people who really do love you and care for you. Me and my sister are post to take a trip to Florida though so that should be fun. Even though I'm still very young, I just want to learn as much as I can and want to start to get a jump start in my career. I just feel like its more I could be doing whether is networking or going to local businesses and asking them if they looking for interns. It's easier said than done though because I really do try but its like this job and school takes up most of my life and I just don't have the time. Speaking of work, UGHH I'M STARTING TO GET ANNOYED AND SICK OF THIS JOB! It's like they are just very inconsiderate and they keep having me do all these things because they know I am a good worker and they love taking advantage of the situation. Also currently looking for a new job. Well that's all for now, signing off. (Hopefully I'll have a new job next time we talk )
In this blog I will take about class discussions on things that were gone over in class and things that are going on in my personal life. So in class we went over the Pyramid Scene which went over discussions and questions that should be answered while writing a paper. I forgot who wrote the Pyramid Scene but when I found out I will be sure to tag the link. So I was having a some what of a hard time understanding the new material that we were learning. Okay so first I know that Rhetoric means the Art of Persuasion, knowing that are next paper is going to be an Research Paper, there will be a lot of Persuading threw out the paper. We also learned that Rhetoric refers back to Greek Gods Socrates, Plate and Aridtle. Oh now I remember ! Aristotle came up with the Rhetorical Triangle which means that I just answered my own question and also I probably sound crazy writing this blog but its okay... I guess. Some important questions to ask yourself while writing a Persuasion Paper are the following: What is the aim or your goal by creating this message? Who are you addressing, what are the concerns, values and beliefs? I feel this questions are very important because you want to make sure you have a goal and that it is CLEAR from beginning to end because if it's not then you will be rambling about anything and have a messy paper. Also it is important to make sure you know what kind of audience you are addressing so you can make the right points and build a connection with your audience. We had also watched an entertaining clip on gun control and it showed two perspectives on why control is important to have and not necessary to have. I feel as though even though the clip wasn't that long, in that short amount of time it connected with its audience, made clear points, stated it's argument, and had supporting details to back its argument.

This is an insightful post. You had me scratching my head with your discussion about "pyramid scheme," which is a different concept altogether from Aristotle's Rhetorical Triangle. Here is some info on pyramid schemes: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pyramid_scheme
